Hey ma homedawgs!

Wow, that looked wrong even in writing. Okay, I shall stick to Hey y'all!
Okay an update on my life in writing. Doesn't seem too hard.
Lets see. I'm starting college soon, to the people that do not know me. I am going to pursue Architecture as a profession and I am starting off with a Foundation in natural and build technology at Taylor's. Whodathunkit? That Carrie would go into Arts?

All my friends from high school are going ON AND ON about how we will miss each other and how we might drift apart. Lets face it. Most of us and by most I mean at least 70%? are going to Taylor's/Help Institute. Taking a course and off we go to Australia. Dude. We so gonna see each other! But yeah, keep in touch.

I have had a nice 2009 and by nice I mean nice ! I was stressed about the exams and all but now I am thinking,...its over? Whats up with that ! New doors are going to open my friends.

I thought I would have a nice long holiday but mine was quite packed. I went to Singapore and Batam,Indonesia recently. Nice place to go. If you are visiting those places and want to know more then send me a message :)

Watched Avatar twice. How much does that Up my nerd factor scale ;) Watched Sherlock Holmes. Both of these movies are great great great movies. Noticed I said great 3 times ! Because 2 times wouldn't be enough and 4 times would be overdoing it.

Hows that for an update? You happy Roo's ? I UPDATED as per request.

I think I might just blog more often. To keep the one person that actually reads my blog entertained..or..to keep her from running away from visiting my blog. Does that make enough sense?
I am hoping twentyten will be a good year for me.
No more slacking off, procrastination, hopefully I can banish the use of la's, um's, like's ( Im actually doubting I can banish like's, who can stop using that word ? Its addictive not to mention a habit), widen my vocabulary so it does not just consist of like's and um's ( in short I don't want to sound stupid), learn to use semicolons and all that jazz, get good friends in college, everything good that comes with life.

Yes well, I think that might just be it for today.

I just watched one of the most heartwarming short films ever.
Well, I kind of picked it up off my cousins facebook page but if you do not count that as a small discovery then, what is.
Now I am all warm and fuzzy on the inside. The type of warm and fuzzy you get after you read a novel while snuggling in your bed late at night with a piping hot cup of tea be it earl grey tea or something lemon flavoured. The type of warm and fuzzy you normally get after reading a 300 page romance novel where happy endings are abundance ( except for when it comes to creations of Nicholas Sparks) all compressed into 12 minutes and 13 seconds. Genius !
It was done by Patrick Hughes and I would watch out for more of his works if I were you.

I shall now introduce my baby ! A Raleigh. My bike I got about a month or so back. My mom even got me a matching watch. ( white watch ) Love it ! I love her soo much and take her out for a ride every evening..or...every other evening anyway. Spread the love !

Hee my bad photography made it seem like there is another planet at the bottom. Just thought it looked pretty cool. Have been trying to take pictures of the moon. Like the ones you see on the internet. Not working so far. But ! I will persevere.

I've got the epitome of fevers and although I should be studying, the mind and ze body is saying "no" In a rather cute but annoying way. Doctor advised me to stay home for the rest of the week in fear of Ugh piggy flu. Nastay.
I dont think it is said piggy flu but you never know you know. You never know. So I have to take 1 and a half pills of paracetamol ( thats panadol for you people that don't take chemistry 101 ) every 4 hours and cough mixture 3 times a day. I iz feeling like a druggy by the side of the road. In rather comfortable pyjama's.
So for the people who have not called me in worry that Im missing from life (whatever you guys !) or I have not annoyed with 10241412 sms's. Yes. I am stuck at home with a nasty fever that is making me somewhat depressed and angsty and making me have a craving for kaya waffles...
Do you think my cough will say yes to a mouthful of kaya waffles? I think not.. But who cares ! I dont ! (note:angsty!)

On to birds.

Cassowaries have a reputation for being dangerous to people and domestic animals. The 2007 edition of the Guinness World Records lists the cassowary as the world's most dangerous bird. During World War II American and Australian troops stationed in New Guinea were warned to steer clear of them. Many internet entries about cassowaries state that they can disembowel a man or dog with one kick, with the long second toe claw cutting the gut open. ( I could do that.....)

I've got new shoes!
And I keep reminding myself, investment not a buy.
Will get a picture of it up soon, before I scuff it up. Is that how you spell scuff?

I have a new splint which is cool.
No marathon for me, mom decided to change her mind.

I managed to fracture or get a suspected fracture on my right wrist thus forcing me to do everything with my left hand.
I cant even shower properly and need to plastic bag my hand before bathing. Thats where the teeth come in to help me tie the plastic bag heh.
What sucks the most is when I sweat. I hate the feeling of my hand feeling trapped in the cast thing. Good thing is I get to just sit back and watch people take their exams.. and bad thing is that I have nothing to do but study back there.
The mum and the sister went to Taiwan making dad the person that has to help me tie my hair, pity him haha. Well what else, exams are here. the weather is hot, I miss mumsy and my sister and..thats it it I guess.
Still loving Jon Schmidt and his piano, sigh.
